Early in the morning is one of my favorite times to take photographs. Weather extremes doesn't keep me from going out. Although it can be very challenging at times, I find it very satisfying and rewarding experience. Each day is different from another and each subject is never the same. Taking photographs of wildlife, mostly waterfowl, is one of my main focus.

Winter Waterfowl Photographs of 2015. Had a great year photographing Waterfowl this winter. The cold sub zero temps made it interesting and challenging days on the water. Some days the temps reached the 25 below zero and some days were even worst., but freezing temps never deterred me from getting out there and enjoying what winter in Michigan has to offer.
Bird Numbers. The Blue Bill were about average this year along with the Goldeneyes and Bufflehead's. Canvasbacks and Redheads seam to be growing in numbers along with the Red breasted and Common Mergansers. Amazed at the large beautiful flocks that filled the skies never seams to get old. Some days I was so at all at the large numbers that I would forget to photograph them. Hope you enjoy my passion and fell free to leave any questions you might have. Good or bad that's ok because I'm willing to share anything I can. Thanks again
The waterfowl season this year started out slow but picked up here in Michigan. Photographing this winter has been both wonderful and crazy. The weather this season has been at the least freezing and record measured snow. For me, it has been tuff dealing with the deep drifting snow and down right bone wrenching cold. Thanks to The Warmer company for keeping me and my batteries warm and functioning. Here some of my frost bitten fingers photo. " ENJOY THEM "
Working with hunters is a very special to me and having them bring there best friend and hard working waterfowl retriever is the tip of the iceberg. I seen some dogs work so hard that at the end of the hunt they sleep like babies. If you have a water dog and you want to have them photographed on one of your hunt just give me a call, I'd love to do it.
These are some of my favorite photographs, I love how majestic waterfowl are while in flight. From soring landing and taking off from the water. I hope you enjoy these as much as I love taking them

This is a vacation my family took given to us by Meta Lake Lodge and Operation Injured Solider. This was a wonderful fishing trip with my family. we caught so many fish that I got tired of filleting them. Great weather, warm and cozy cabin and outstanding service. The food was amazing as well. Thank you Meta Lake Lodge and IOS for a great time spending with family.
